The Teaching and Learning Center promotes a student-centric approach to innovative, creative, engaging, and inclusive classroom excellence. We champion improved educational experiences that include the development of critical thinking, communication, leadership, and collaboration at all levels.

TLC serves faculty at all levels, graduate teaching assistants, and staff with instructor roles. 

What are we doing?

TLC provides the dynamic training and support necessary for faculty members, graduate teaching assistants, and staff with instructional roles.

Why are we doing it?

TLC exists to invigorate the classroom structure – in-person, online, or hybrid – to improve interactivity and inclusivity and thus student engagement, success, and retention. 

How are we doing it? 

TLC mentors and assists faculty with all kinds of courses to produce a collaborative, healthy teaching environment that focuses on positive student outcomes and success.
