Advancing Classroom Excellence (ACE)

The Advancing Classroom Excellence (ACE) Program supports early career faculty in developing effective teaching practices. This cohort-based program combines large group sessions, small group collaborations, classroom observations, and personalized feedback to help faculty build pedagogical skills and classroom confidence. Participants, called ACE scholars, agree to commit between 1-3 hours per week to ACE Program activities.

Active Learning

Student Use of Generative AI (GAI) at Missouri S&T

A faculty task force representing all three colleges met to develop guidelines which would assist S&T faculty with developing their own course policies for student use of generative AI (GAI).

Online Teaching Certification

The University of Missouri system recommends that all instructors who teach online receive training to more effectively focus their instruction for the online modality. TLC provides training throughout the year.
